Inspiration rarely knocks on the front door; it usually sneaks in through the back window when you're working on something else entirely. The core concept for In a Blink is living proof of that.

The initial spark didn't come from a heavy rock riff or a moody grunge progression. The idea actually originated from a completely different song we were experimenting with—a track with a totally different style and vibe that just wasn't working. We ended up scraping the music, but one specific feeling stuck with Lena. She started reflecting on how terrifyingly fast time seemed to be moving since we first started playing together, how memories of old friends and past nights out already felt like "chasing ghosts on an endless street."

That sense of relentless, slipping time became the heartbeat of In a Blink.

We took that melancholy reflection and rebuilt it from the ground up, wrapping it in the dark, atmospheric rock sound of Plastik Throne. The ticking clock metaphor in the lyrics is mirrored in the steady, driving pulse of the rhythm section, building an undeniable tension. The track captures that universal, sobering realization that the "good old days" often pass us by before we even realize we're living them.

It’s a song about standing in the present, looking over your shoulder, and realizing that everything turns to ash in a blink.
